World War 2: TCG, is a free to play trading card game based on the World War II.

In the campaign, the player will take the role of a soldier whose squadron just got wiped out. Throughout the campaign the player will gather his own army and successfully take part in the most epic battles and military campaigns that took place in World War II. Besides the single player campaign, the game features a competitive system against other players via the PVP mode.

Working on a WWII era game is always a great amount of fun.  The event is so well documented that grabbing a ton of reference material is never much of a problem.  The good folks at Frozen Shard Games were extremely well organized in detailing the UX and UI elements framework for their first title which allowed me to delve straight into the styling and the concepting of the visuals.

The project was deserved boost through a successful Kickstarter campaign. This allowed the time to go back to the first concept of the battlefield screen and rework the layout based upon Player feedback. From my end, it also gave a great opportunity to update the visual elements to complement the new maps and updated visual style.
The new battleground maps were given distinct settings of urban, forest, arctic and desert. It seemed only right that the frames were given a little bit of visual style to match in with the theme.

World War II TCG, is great fun, full of unique twists on traditional digital card games, and available now on various platforms (links below).
