Yoda | Sculpt | Part One
“Do or do not, there is no try”
It’s been a busy few months at the Digilocker. Some really exciting projects worked on, (with a small backlog to add to the site), and look forward to sharing those with you soon!
In the meantime, thought it was about time I added a blog section to the site. News, projects & portfolio will remain for their purpose, but the main reason for the blog is to cover studies, experiments, tutorials & miscellaneous news as a bit of a journal – possibly some software & hardware reviews, but will look into that after I’ve had chance to catch up with the rest.
So for the first post, here’s a little speed sculpting study of that little man Yoda, I’ve been playing with for a couple of evenings this past week. Never really intended to go as far as I did with it, just a little project break & was going to just sculpt a bust. Was a lot of fun though, so carried on for a bit of a timelapse test.
The mesh is still triangulated from Sculptris, so with part two the plan is, optimise/retopo the mesh, fix up some likeness issues, complete & texture the lightsabre, replace his temporary cloak with cloth and fully rig the little fella!
